Position: Permanent Infant Educator
Location: West Huron Early Childhood Learning Centre
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week
Start Date: September 4, 2018
This particular position contributes to an Infant classroom, providing care and education for children ages 0-18 months. You will be part of a team of three Educators; balancing program responsibilities and cleaning duties requires flexibility, initiative, and a self-motivated disposition. You will be required to demonstrate the children’s learning through conversations and written documentation. You will build meaningful relationships with coworkers, families and faculty through daily interactions. Strong initiative and collaboration skills are critical, as well as being flexible with shift depending on needs of classroom and centre.

You bring the following qualifications:
Registered Early Childhood Educator qualification preferred;
If applicable; proof of current status with the College of ECE
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of child development
Demonstrated knowledge or interest in Emergent Curriculum
Demonstrated experience working with children ages 0-18 months
