Cambrian College’s Schools of Justice, Community Services, and General Studies requires a part-time Professor to teach within the Early Childhood Education program beginning January 2019.



  • Postsecondary diploma in Early Childhood Education and registration in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators. (A copy of educational documents and registration must be submitted with application.)
  • Five years of experience working within a licensed daycare centre.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and superior oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to be an effective role model in the classroom.
  • Ability to utilize creative teaching approaches as well as current and emerging teaching and learning strategies to enhance student progress.
  • Possess excellent organizational skills and sound computer software skills.
  • Ability to function within a team environment.

Assets / Preferred

  • Bachelor of Education.
  • Previous teaching experience at the postsecondary level.

Additional Information


  • Postsecondary degree and CECE Registration.
  • All candidates will be required to undergo a mini-teaching simulation during the interview process.
